8 September 2023 – On this day, the team from Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort revisited Peduli Anak to continue their activities in the Company Social Responsibility program. This time, the participants were vocational school students who had the unique opportunity to learn how to cook pasta from a Sheraton Sous Chef, Komang Permana.
The Peduli Anak kitchen was brimming with enthusiasm and spirit as eight children engaged in this activity, paying close attention to each chef’s explanations. They eagerly satisfied their curiosity about unfamiliar ingredients, asking numerous questions. During the class, the chef guided them in preparing carbonara pasta.
Siti, one of the children in the cooking class, expressed her excitement, saying, “Learning to cook foreign dishes is incredibly thrilling. I’ve also gained valuable knowledge about the ingredients used in pasta making and can now practice cooking them myself.”
Looking ahead, regular cooking classes will continue to be a part of the program, offering the children the chance to explore a variety of dishes commonly served at Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort.
