Sanru is the fifth child of six. He used to live with his parents and siblings in a small bamboo house in an isolated village. His parents worked on a farm away from the village and would leave their kids alone. Sometimes, Sanru and his brothers had to live without food, other basic necessities and attention from their parents. Because the school was far away and his parents didn’t pay much attention to him, Sanru never went to school. Sanru was then referred to Peduli Anak to join his three older brothers who have lived here. Sanru now sits in Primary School and he wants to be a policeman when he grows up.
