Kokoon Project Garnered 8,350 Euro in Funding

1 March’17 – Earlier this year, Peduli Anak and JeNiAl Association launched a crowdfunding campaign, Kokoon Project, for solar panel installation in Peduli Anak, Lombok.

Several companies and individuals donated in the Kokoon Project and we are pleased to announce that we have collected 8,530 Euro!

After thorough search for the perfect panel that fits our budget and location and negotiation with the seller, Contained Energy, we managed to get a better installation than we expected.

At the moment, we’re waiting for the 4.5kWp On-grid system using SMA inverter and Schutten Solar panels to arrive in Lombok. With this installation, the solar power plant will produce 6MWh, which means approximately IDR 4,5 million saved each year). The installation is scheduled in May 2017.

This is just the first step. As we move toward clean and sustainable energy, we are exploring more opportunities to save energy in all aspects of our daily life here in Peduli Anak, Lombok.
