13 Nov’16 – Our first charity sale on Car Free Day Mataram on Udayana Street today was a success!
Over the past several months, we have received clothes donations from our friends in Jakarta. Many the clothes go directly to children, but there were plenty of clothes that are not suitable for children and all in good condition, many of them were new!
Therefore, we decided to do a charity sale during car free day event in the city of Mataram. With acoustic music and pantomime performances by the children, we attracted passers-by and morning joggers who flocked the main road on the bright Sunday morning.
Besides selling new and pre-loved clothes, we also offered handicrafts made by the children in the Art class. Our kids, volunteer and staff really enjoyed this event. In just two hours, we sold all clothes and collected almost IDR 1 million!
