Lalu Muhammad Sopian or Pian came from a broken home family. He used to live with his mother and his half sister in a tent and moved from one place to another. The Social Agency later subsidized a simple house for the family, built in a village cemetery.

Pian went to school but dropped out at second grade because he spent most of his day at East Lombok harbor, begging for money. He seldom went home, except for giving the money to his mother who’s jobless. The Social Agency referred Pian to Peduli Anak so that he can go back to school and grow up in a safe environment.
