During the school break, Arga spent his time visiting the library to nurture his interest in reading and improve his literacy skills. He was drawn to picture books featuring objects, fruits, vehicles, and plants, each labeled with names and colors. With guidance from his mentor, Arga practiced reading slowly yet enthusiastically, showing strong focus and determination. This activity not only enhanced his reading ability but also boosted his confidence and learning spirit. The positive interaction with his mentor made the reading experience even more enjoyable for Arga.

Jumadil joined a fun activity of making rockets from used plastic bottles, guided by students from Cita Buana School in Jakarta. With patience and teamwork, he worked with his friends to cut, assemble, and decorate the rocket. Once completed, they launched the rocket using a tool prepared by the Cita Buana students. For Jumadil, the activity was not only a chance to practice his skills, but also a moment to strengthen friendships while fostering collaboration and creativity.

Silvia enjoys koplo and dangdut music, especially the lively and energetic koplo version of the song “Mawar Merah.” She often plays it on her mini speaker while singing along and nodding her head to the beat. This song is also her go-to tune during leisure time or when doing group chores with friends like Aida, Maya, Iraika, Yeyen, and Hera. Music has become a source of joy that strengthens the warmth and fun of their togetherness.

Ulfa joined an exciting game of Bingo held in the Peduli Anak hall as part of the farewell event for Louis, a volunteer from the Netherlands. The game was led by Louis and Alba, a volunteer from Spain, where players matched the images called out to the cards they each had. Ulfa played with her friends and showed sharp focus and quick reflexes throughout the game. She became the fastest player to complete her card and proudly shouted “BINGO!”, winning a prize of marshmallows and Kopiko candy. The activity was both a fun moment and a sweet memory for Ulfa and her friends with the volunteers.

On Saturday night, the Peduli Anak hall turned into a mini cinema as Siska and her friends watched a horror movie titled Kereta Berdarah (The Bloody Train). As a horror film enthusiast, Siska enjoyed every tense and surprising moment of the movie, even though she occasionally hid her face behind a pillow while peeking through. The atmosphere was filled with small screams, nervous laughter, and warm togetherness, all under the supervision of a counselor to ensure everyone’s safety. For Siska, the best part came after the movie—discussing the scariest scenes with her friends. That night became one of her most memorable Saturday nights, filled with laughter, suspense, and shared stories.

Ema remains active in the Karang Taruna (youth group) and demonstrated her leadership and creativity during a joint Taekwondo training session at Peduli Anak. She encouraged her friends to start a small business by selling milk ice drinks for IDR 2,000 per cup to participants from other schools. The simple venture sold well and became a valuable experience that nurtured independence, teamwork, and self-confidence for Ema and the other children at Peduli Anak.
