Welcoming the 11th Graders of Sekolah Cita Buana
On May 7, 2025, Peduli Anak once again filled with joy and laughter as we welcomed a special group of visitors — the 11th-grade students from Sekolah Cita Buana Jakarta. Their arrival was greeted with warm smiles and cheerful waves from the children, who were already familiar with their school, having previously hosted the 7th and 8th graders just a week earlier.
The excitement was palpable. The children of Peduli Anak, still holding onto fond memories from the last visit, were thrilled to welcome more new friends and dive into another day of fun and learning.
Learning Through Laughter and Play
This time, the visiting students came prepared with a range of engaging and educational activities. Divided into eight groups based on grade levels — including our children from Kindergarten, Grades 1 through 4, and Grades 7 and 8 — the day was thoughtfully organized to ensure every child had a memorable experience.
Throughout the morning, the children played educational games, participated in art activities, and conducted simple science experiments. Whether they were mixing colors, launching mini science projects, or learning new skills through playful challenges, our children were buzzing with curiosity and joy.
The students from Sekolah Cita Buana handled their roles as mentors and facilitators with care and confidence. Their ability to guide the children with kindness and patience was truly impressive.
Joy, Curiosity, and Confidence
For the children of Peduli Anak, this wasn’t just another school day — it was something special. The activities lit up their imaginations and gave them the freedom to express themselves, ask questions, and try new things. From the colorful art projects to the simple yet exciting science experiments, the children were completely immersed.
Some children proudly showed their painted artworks, while others couldn’t stop talking about how the food coloring danced in the water during the experiments. Even the typically shy ones found the courage to participate and shine alongside their new older friends.
Moments like these help boost not only knowledge but also confidence, and it was clear from the laughter and focused faces that they were truly enjoying every second.
A Thoughtful Gesture
As the visit came to an end, the students of Sekolah Cita Buana had one more surprise in store. They generously donated a collection of stationery supplies and art tools to Peduli Anak — a thoughtful gift that will continue to spark creativity and learning long after their visit.
Though their time with us was short, the impact they made was lasting. The children left with new memories, new knowledge, and most importantly, new friendships.
