Terms of Service
Welcome to the Peduli Anak Foundation website. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, including creating an account, making donations, supporting children through our sponsorship programme, applying as a volunteer, subscribing to newsletters, and using any online services provided by Peduli Anak Foundation. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About Peduli Anak Foundation
Peduli Anak Foundation is an Indonesian non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and strengthening families through education, healthcare, child protection, family strengthening, residential care, and community development. Our work is guided by the best interests of every child and a commitment to dignity, transparency, accountability, and safeguarding.
Eligibility and Accounts
You may create an account if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for maintaining accurate information, protecting your password, and all activity carried out through your account.
Donations
Donations support Peduli Anak Foundation’s charitable programmes. Unless restricted by the donor, contributions may be allocated where they are most needed. If a designated campaign has been completed or can no longer be delivered, funds may be redirected to a similar charitable purpose.
Child Sponsorship
Child sponsorship supports Peduli Anak Foundation’s programmes for a specific child and contributes to that child’s education, wellbeing, and development. Sponsorship does not create legal guardianship, parental rights, or exclusive financial ownership of a child.
Sponsorship Changes
If a sponsored child graduates, reunites with family, becomes independent, transfers to another programme, or is no longer eligible, we may introduce another child to ensure your support continues to benefit children in need. Where practical, sponsors will be informed.
Child Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of children are our highest priority. Sponsors, donors, volunteers, and visitors must respect our Child Safeguarding Policy. Personal contact information will never be shared. Letters, gifts, photographs, and communications may be reviewed before being forwarded. Visits require prior approval and must follow safeguarding procedures.
Communications
We may provide child updates, newsletters, annual reports, campaign information, and organisational news. We aim to balance meaningful communication with each child’s right to privacy and dignity.
Recurring Donations
Recurring donations continue according to the payment schedule selected until cancelled. Future payments may be cancelled through your account or by contacting us.
Refunds
Because donations are used to support ongoing charitable activities, donations are generally non-refundable. Requests relating to duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorised transactions will be reviewed individually.
Volunteers
Volunteer applications are assessed according to programme needs, safeguarding requirements, qualifications, availability, and organisational capacity. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious software, submit false information, or interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all photographs, stories, logos, videos, graphics, publications, and website content belong to Peduli Anak Foundation or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Third-Party Services
Our website may use trusted third-party providers including payment processors, analytics services, email communication platforms, and cloud hosting providers. Their services remain subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Transparency
Peduli Anak Foundation is committed to responsible stewardship of every donation. We regularly publish programme updates and annual reports to demonstrate transparency and accountability.
