Wawan Hendrawan

Wawan comes from a very humble family. He lives with his mother and 2 younger siblings in a small 2x2m house with no ventilation and electricity. Wawan and his siblings were neglected because his mother is incapable of taking care of the children. They survive thanks to their neighbors’ mercy. Wawan is actually a smart and happy boy. He never went to school although he’s already 8 years old because of his family’s condition. Everyday Wawan and his siblings just played around the house and Wawan was envious to see his friends going to school.

Eventually, a social worker found out about Wawan’s terrible condition and he was then referred to Peduli Anak. In the foundation, Wawan has shown great motivation to learn and he cannot wait to go to Primary School. Wawan loves playing football and he wants to be footballer someday.
