Rahmat Hidayatullah, usually called Dayat, comes from a poor family. Dayat and his parents live in a small house near a junkyard. Both his parents work as laborers there. Every day his parents leave for work from 08.00 till late afternoon. Dayat often goes to the place where his parents work and helps them sorting out the plastic trash to be recycled. Dayat really wants to spend more time with his parents at home, or plays with his peers.  In Peduli Anak Primary School,  he likes Bahasa Indonesia and playing soccer. When he grows up, he wants to be a policeman.
