Hamdi comes from a broken family. His parents divorced when he was not born yet. His father left without a word. Then, when he was 17 months old, his mother left him. After that, he was taken care of by his grandmother. However, his grandmother could not take care of him due to old age. He became neglected. Therefore, he was referred to Peduli Anak.

At Peduli Anak, Hamdi can go to school and has many friends.
