FunDays: A Joyful Celebration After Exam Week
After a full week of concentrating on exams, the students of Peduli Anak School were more than ready for something they had been eagerly waiting for — FunDays! This special activity is held right after exam week and has become one of the most beloved traditions among the children. It’s not just a break from studies, but a day filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition.
FunDays is more than just fun — it’s also a way for the children to release stress, recharge their spirits, and celebrate the hard work they’ve done throughout the school term.
Outdoor Team Games
For our Primary School students, the school yard transformed into a lively playground. The children were divided into mixed-grade teams, encouraging collaboration and new friendships across different age groups. From exciting cheering sessions to relay races and group games, the playground was filled with joyful shouts, high-fives, and big smiles.
These outdoor games not only brought joy but also helped teach important values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. It was beautiful to see younger and older students cheering each other on and working together as one team.
Obstacle Races and E-Sports
Meanwhile, our Middle School students enjoyed a mix of physical and digital challenges. Outside, they faced off in a thrilling obstacle relay race, testing their agility, strategy, and collaboration. Inside, the excitement continued with an e-sports championship where students competed in a friendly digital gaming tournament.
Both activities gave our older students a chance to show their skills, bond with classmates, and enjoy some well-deserved fun after a week of intense studying.
Closing the School Year with Joy
FunDays is more than just a day of games — it marks a joyful closing to the academic year. It allows the children to unwind before Report Card Day, and helps them transition into the long school break ahead with a happy heart and excited spirit.
As the children look forward to the holidays and a fresh start in the next school year, FunDays remains a reminder that learning is not only about books and tests, but also about joy, friendship, and balance.
