Fun Yoga Session with Volunteer
Amid their school break, the children of Peduli Anak found a fun and calming way to refresh their bodies and minds — through a yoga session led by Sydney, one of our amazing volunteers. Held in the Peduli Anak hall, the session brought together children of all ages for a joyful moment of stretching, breathing, and relaxation.
The children followed Sydney’s instructions with great enthusiasm, curious to try every move — from gentle stretches to simple poses that helped them improve their balance and focus.
Anisa as a Yoga Assistant
One of the highlights of the session was the involvement of Anisa, one of our confident girls, who assisted Sydney throughout the session. Anisa helped translate the instructions into Indonesian so that all the children could understand and follow along smoothly.
Her presence not only helped make the activity more engaging but also showed how our children are growing into leaders and supporters for one another. With Sydney and Anisa guiding them, the children moved through the session with ease and laughter.

Building Calm and Confidence
The yoga session wasn’t just about physical movement — it also helped the children experience calmness and mindfulness. Many of them shared how relaxed and refreshed they felt afterward, and some even expressed interest in doing it again in the future.
It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce a new kind of fun that also promotes wellness, body awareness, and inner peace — all in an environment filled with care and encouragement.
Thank You for the Energy and Care
We extend a big thank you to Sydney for sharing her time and skills with the children, and to Anisa for being such a great assistant. This simple yet meaningful session reminded us that sometimes, all you need is a little space, a few deep breaths, and kind guidance to feel better — together.
We look forward to more activities like this that inspire our children to stay active, centered, and happy.
