A Splash of Fun with Henk and Miranda

Laughter and cheerful voices filled the yard as the children gathered to spend time with Henk and Miranda, long-time friends and sponsors of Peduli Anak. What began as a simple game soon turned into an afternoon filled with laughter, movement, and shared excitement.

During the game, the children threw water-soaked sponges at circles marked with different point values on the ground. Each child aimed to score as many points as possible, while the others watched with excitement and cheered one another on.

Focus and Excitement in Every Throw

Although the game seemed simple, it required concentration and accuracy. The children carefully judged the direction and strength of each throw, hoping their sponge would land on one of the higher-scoring circles.

Whenever a sponge hit its target, cheers and applause immediately followed. The lively atmosphere kept everyone engaged and excited as they waited for their turns.

Learning Through Play

Beyond the fun and laughter, the activity also helped the children develop focus, coordination, and self-confidence. They learned to keep trying, accept the results, and enjoy the process, whether their throws landed exactly where they hoped or not.

The friendly competition remained lighthearted and full of joy. While everyone did their best to earn points, what mattered most was the opportunity to play together and share happy moments with one another.

For the children, moments like these are about more than collecting points or becoming the winner. They are opportunities to laugh, play, and create memories together.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Henk and Miranda for taking the time to share this joyful experience with the children. Their presence reminds us that even simple activities can bring meaningful moments of happiness, care, and togetherness.

Sometimes, the most meaningful memories are created through simple moments of laughter and togetherness.
