A few days ago, Nining Nurmalasari officially completed her graduation assessment (yudisium) and successfully earned her Bachelor of Education degree. As she awaits her upcoming graduation ceremony, she is filled with pride and happiness for this achievement. While preparing for her special day, Nining still makes time to assist foster mothers and counselors at Peduli Anak. She is deeply grateful for the support she received throughout her educational journey and hopes to take part in the graduation ceremony soon.
Yusri is currently busy working on his final report as a graduation requirement and preparing for commencement. He is waiting for approval from his academic advisor after completing the report carefully and according to the given guidance. If no further revisions are needed, Yusri can proceed to submit his graduation application and begin preparations for the graduation ceremony. Elma showed her care by actively assisting the counselor in various children’s activities during the Eid holiday. She was directly involved in the daily activities of the kindergarten children, held from Monday to Friday, working together with Alba, a volunteer from Spain. Together, they filled the children’s time with educational activities such as making crafts with plasticine, drawing, dancing, and playing pretend cooking games. Elma was not just a helper, but also part of the children’s joy and learning process. Opik is now in the early part of his fourth semester and has become busy with various individual assignments from his lecturers. One of the tasks he frequently works on is creating graphic designs using digital media. These assignments help develop Opik’s creativity and technical skills in using software like Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Canva. He is challenged to combine engaging visual elements with informative messages based on the assigned themes. Through these tasks, Opik continues to sharpen his abilities in the field of graphic design.
During the Eid holiday, Bunga stayed at Peduli Anak and helped guide the younger children through their daily activities. She actively took part in organizing playtime and sports sessions, and also helped maintain order during Movie Time in the hall. Throughout her involvement, Bunga consistently coordinated with the counselor and foster mother to ensure all activities ran smoothly. Her presence was a great help and made a positive impact, especially during the staff shortage over the holiday period.
Lasmin and several other teenagers had the opportunity to go to an ice cream café as a form of appreciation from Peduli Anak Co-Founder, Mr. Agus, for their good behavior. Lasmin looked happy as she enjoyed her favorite ice cream latte while joking and laughing with her friends. This activity was not only a joyful moment but also helped strengthen the bond between the children and their caregivers at Peduli Anak.
