Responsibility with Love

Noval is a diligent and responsible child. Every day, he helps his foster mother by sweeping, washing dishes, and tidying up the house. Enjel is known as a diligent, caring child who values cleanliness, both at home and at school. Together with her friend Tiara, she actively helps organize the library by arranging books according to categories and cleaning the room to keep it comfortable for use. Enjel’s thoroughness and sense of responsibility were appreciated by her teacher for helping create a tidy and enjoyable learning environment. Her actions serve as a positive example for her peers, showing the importance of care and kindness in everyday life.

Arkan spent his holiday visiting the library and reading a book titled Vivian the Vampire, which caught his attention for its imaginative story and appealing illustrations. Although his reading skills are not yet fluent, he enthusiastically read page by page. Afterward, Arkan enjoyed the library atmosphere by watching his friends play with puzzles. He felt happy because in the library, he could read, play, and socialize in a pleasant environment. This experience made him even more motivated to learn and broaden his knowledge.

Arga really enjoys learning to play football with his classmates, especially during Physical Education class every Thursday morning. He is guided directly by his teacher, Mr. Fahrul, who teaches basic techniques such as kicking, dribbling, and the importance of stretching before playing. Arga shows great enthusiasm, especially when practicing shooting the ball toward the goal. He is also active and energetic when playing in teams formed by the teacher, and he has started to show good skills in team play.

On a quiet Saturday morning, Farizi, Afan, Fariz, and Irfan gathered in the library to play Monopoly, their favorite game. Sitting in a circle on the floor, they began the game with great enthusiasm, rolling the dice and competing to buy the best properties. Clever strategies and surprises from each turn made the game even more exciting, with laughter filling the room whenever someone fell into a card trap or had to pay high rent. Even Fariz, who is usually quiet, couldn’t stop laughing throughout the game. Although Farizi won, they all agreed that the togetherness and laughter they shared were the most valuable parts of the morning.

Dika is currently learning to write an essay about the importance of speaking politely and respectfully to others. He understands that speaking with courtesy reflects one’s character and shows respect, whether at home, in school, or in the community. To deepen his understanding, Dika searched for references online and took notes on key points such as using polite language, maintaining appropriate tone, and not interrupting others while they speak. He also added real-life examples to his essay to make it easier to understand. With a strong learning spirit, Dika hopes his writing can deliver a meaningful message to his readers.

Abi enjoys outdoor activities, especially cycling with his friends every afternoon. Besides being fun, this activity keeps his body fit and strengthens friendships. Abi feels healthier and more energetic thanks to his cycling routine.

Abdul and his housemates from House 2 had a special opportunity to watch the ogoh-ogoh (Balinese’s Statue) parade in Cakranegara, Mataram, as part of the Silence Day celebration. Accompanied by their foster mother, they enjoyed the vibrant parade filled with color and traditional Balinese music. Although Abdul is a Muslim, the moment was used as an opportunity to learn about tolerance and appreciate cultural diversity. He was enthusiastic as he watched the giant ogoh-ogoh figures, which symbolize human vices, and remained cooperative throughout the activity. This experience became a valuable lesson on the importance of mutual respect in the midst of differences.

During school holidays, Arkam actively participates in various fun activities such as outings, swimming, playing on the computer, and reading in the library with friends and volunteers. He is known as a cheerful and sociable child who brings great enthusiasm to every activity. His sense of humor creates a warm and entertaining atmosphere for those around him. Arkam’s joyfulness and active nature make him a well-liked friend among many.
