Twenty years ago, a Dutch convert to Islam named Mr. Fetter took a life-changing journey to Indonesia. Amid the busy streets, he met children who had been abandoned—living without homes, without proper meals, and without a clear future. That encounter moved him deeply.
He made a bold decision: to sell his company in the Netherlands, leave behind the comforts of his homeland, and dedicate his life in Indonesia to one noble mission—to help orphaned and abandoned children live better lives.
Together with his wife and close friends, he founded the Peduli Anak Foundation in Lombok—a place that has now become home to hundreds of underprivileged children. At Peduli Anak, the children not only receive shelter and education, but also love, safety, and nutritious meals to help them grow and thrive.
Today, two decades later, Mr. Fetter’s spirit remains strong. But he cannot continue this mission alone.
