A Fun Way to Finish English Class
After weeks of learning English together, Henk and Miranda wrapped up the classes with a fun final session for the foster mothers. Instead of sitting through another regular lesson, they put what they had learned into practice through a series of games based on the English material covered during the classes.
The change of pace brought a lot of laughter and friendly competition. Everyone joined in, tested their knowledge, and enjoyed seeing how much they could remember from the lessons.

Putting Lessons into Practice
The games were built around the English topics the foster mothers had been learning with Henk and Miranda. It was a simple way to revisit familiar words and expressions while using them in a more relaxed setting.
The atmosphere was light and playful, and everyone was happy to take part. What started as a learning activity quickly turned into an enjoyable afternoon of laughter and good fun.
A Prize for Everyone
There was one more surprise waiting at the end. The winners received practical household items as prizes, but no one went home empty handed. Every participant received a prize, which made the final session even more enjoyable.
Seeing everyone smiling and celebrating together was a lovely way to finish the classes. After weeks of learning side by side, the final session gave everyone a chance to look back, have fun, and enjoy the moment together.

We are grateful to Henk and Miranda for the time and energy they put into the English classes and for making the final session such a fun one. We hope the English they have learned will continue to be useful in the foster mothers’ everyday lives.
