Learning Through Visual Projects
As part of their English classes, our Grade 9 students at Peduli Anak recently worked on a poster project that allowed them to put their classroom learning into practice. The activity encouraged students to move beyond written exercises and use English in a more practical and engaging way.
By creating posters, students explored how English can be used to share ideas clearly and creatively. The project helped strengthen their understanding of the language while gradually building confidence in expressing themselves.
Bringing English Lessons into Practice
For this project, students designed English-language posters using Canva. The topics were based on lessons covered in class, giving students the opportunity to apply vocabulary and sentence structures in a meaningful context.
Throughout the process, students developed their ideas, wrote short texts, and arranged visual elements to support their messages. This approach allowed them to combine language learning with creativity in a way that felt relevant and accessible.

Building Skills and Confidence
In addition to language practice, the project introduced students to basic design skills such as layout, color choices, and visual communication. These skills supported their growing digital literacy and added another layer to the learning experience.
The project also gave students the chance to take ownership of their work. Seeing their ideas take shape helped build confidence and encouraged them to engage more actively in the learning process.
Through activities like this poster project, Peduli Anak continues to create learning experiences that are practical, meaningful, and engaging for Grade 9 students. Learning becomes more than a classroom task and turns into an opportunity for students to explore ideas and create their own work.
Looking ahead, Peduli Anak remains committed to developing creative learning approaches that support both academic growth and practical skills. These efforts help students prepare for future educational challenges with confidence.
