Teacher’s Day Celebration at Peduli Anak
Teacher’s Day is always a special moment at Peduli Anak. Every year, the children and their teachers come together to celebrate the meaningful bond between them. For us, Teacher’s Day is not only about expressing gratitude, but also about honoring the long journey filled with patience, dedication, and genuine care.
At Peduli Anak, teachers do more than teach in the classroom—they are companions, motivators, and steady figures who are always there when the children need support. Many of our children come from difficult circumstances, and teachers play an essential role in helping them feel safe, motivated to learn, and confident in themselves.
That is why Teacher’s Day is celebrated with so much joy—as a heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and compassion our educators show every single day.
Flag Ceremony Led by Teacher
The celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony in the school courtyard. Unlike on regular days, the teachers took on the roles of ceremony officials—from leading the ceremony to raising the flag. The children watched with excitement as their teachers carried out these duties. It was a simple yet meaningful gesture to honor the hard work and commitment of the educators who guide them every day.
A Message from the Principal, Mr. Madun
Mr. Madun, Principal of Peduli Anak Primary School, also shared a message during the event.
“Teacher’s Day is not only about us as educators,” he said. “It is also about the children who inspire us to be more patient, more creative, and more sincere every single day. We are proud to accompany them as they grow.”
Fun Games That Filled the Day with Joy
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with various games that brought even more excitement. The children joined the balloon relay, laughing and working together to keep their balloon safe until the finish line. The joy continued with a singing competition, where children confidently performed their favorite songs. Cheers from their friends and smiles from their teachers made the atmosphere warm and full of togetherness.
