Another Victory for Our Taekwondo Team!
We’re bursting with pride as our Peduli Anak Taekwondo team once again shines in a major tournament! At the recent Governor Cup Taekwondo Tournament, five of our children competed and brought home a total of five medals—a truly outstanding achievement!
3 Golds and 2 Bronzes
This time, the honor goes to:
- Haekal, Diva, and Sopian – each winning a gold medal
- Hasan and Sakila – proudly earning bronze medals
The tournament was held at the provincial level, bringing together talented athletes from across West Nusa Tenggara. Competing at this scale was no small feat—but our children showed determination, discipline, and sportsmanship from start to finish.
Their hard work during practice paid off, and the medals around their necks are a reflection of both their effort and their spirit.
A Moment of Reflection from Diva
One of our gold medalists, Diva, shared her thoughts after the competition:
“I’m proud of what we achieved. But honestly, it also makes me a little anxious because I’ve now won gold twice in a row in different tournaments. I realize I have to keep working harder so I can stay in this position—or even do better in the next competitions.”
Her words reflect the maturity, humility, and drive that we strive to nurture in every child at Peduli Anak—not just to win, but to grow.
