Welcoming the First Graders of Peduli Anak Primary School
The new school year has officially begun, and with it, we are thrilled to welcome 22 new first graders to Peduli Anak Primary School! These eager young students include two children who live within Peduli Anak Center, and 20 underprivileged children from the surrounding villages — all ready to begin their educational journey in a supportive and nurturing environment.
On their first day of school, Monday, 7 July 2025, the children were greeted with warm smiles and guiding hands. It was a special day filled with curiosity, excitement, and new friendships waiting to bloom.
Exploring Their New School Environment
To help the children settle in, Miss Angqib, the Grade 1 homeroom teacher, led them on a fun and informative tour around the Peduli Anak area. From the classrooms to the library, and from the hall to the playground, the children explored each corner of their new learning space.
For many of the students from the villages, this was their first time visiting Peduli Anak — and their eyes lit up especially when they saw the playground, a space that quickly became their favorite.
“The first day is always full of emotions — nervousness, excitement, and wonder,” said Miss Angqib. “But seeing the children smile and laugh during the tour made me feel hopeful. I’m excited to watch them grow and learn here.”
A Welcoming Start to Their Learning Journey
The children eagerly listened, followed their teacher with curiosity, and began forming connections with their new classmates. With kind guidance and a safe environment, they are now ready to start their first lessons, learn new things, and begin writing the first pages of their educational journey.
