Our Taekwondo Team Brings Home 17 Medals
The Peduli Anak Taekwondo Team from the foundation’s elementary and junior high schools achieved an impressive result at the 2026 NTB Provincial Taekwondo Championship for Students, held at GOR Turide in Mataram from 16 to 18 October. The team brought home 17 medals in total, including 8 gold and 9 silver, from the kyorugi sparring events.
This achievement reflects the athletes’ hard work and the opportunity to put their skills to the test against other competitors. The championship also gave them valuable experience and a chance to learn through competition.

Competing on the Mat
Athletes from elementary and junior high school competed across different age groups and weight classes. From the elementary school team, Djuang, Aminah, Elsa, and Laila won gold medals. At the junior high school level, Hasan, Yeyen, and Fiska also took first place in their respective categories.
Another gold medal was won by Sopian, a high school student who competed alongside the team. Together, these athletes achieved strong results across several competition categories.
Bringing Home the Medals
Alongside the eight gold medals, the athletes also earned nine silver medals. Gempita, Abdul, Sakila, Novi, Ridoan, Diva, Hisnu, Irpansyah, and Idris each secured second place in their respective categories.
Every medal represents an opportunity to develop their skills and learn from the experience of competing. Whether finishing first or second, the athletes gained valuable lessons that they can carry into future training and competitions.

Taking part in a championship is about more than winning medals. It also helps young athletes develop discipline, courage, and sportsmanship. Through competition, they learn to test their abilities, face challenges, and respect the results.
Congratulations to all the athletes on their achievements at the 2026 NTB Provincial Taekwondo Championship. We would also like to thank Coach Denny for his guidance and support. We hope this experience inspires the athletes to keep training, improving their skills, and reaching new milestones.
