Seeing More Clearly with Optik Tunggal
Good vision helps children learn, play, and take part in their daily activities more comfortably. Regular eye examinations are therefore important to identify vision problems early, including issues that may not be immediately noticeable.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Optik Tunggal visited Peduli Anak to provide eye examinations for our children and all staff. The examinations took place over two days, giving everyone the opportunity to have their vision checked and receive the appropriate support when needed.
Identifying Vision Problems Early
During the examinations, several children and staff were found to have myopia or other vision problems that they may not have been aware of before. For children, difficulty seeing clearly can affect their ability to read from the board and follow lessons in class.
Having their eyes checked helped identify these concerns early. Once a vision problem is known, the right support can be provided so they can feel more comfortable in their daily activities.
Learning About Eye Health
Alongside the eye examinations, Optik Tunggal also held an eye health session on the second day. The children and staff learned more about how to take care of their eyes and had the chance to ask questions during an interactive Q&A session, with prizes adding to the fun.
The session also helped them understand that taking care of their eyes goes beyond wearing glasses. Everyday habits can also play an important role in maintaining healthy vision.
Glasses for Clearer Vision
For children and staff who needed vision correction, Optik Tunggal also provided glasses. With the right prescription, they can now see more clearly and feel more comfortable during their daily activities. One of them is Fiska. After trying her new glasses, she noticed a clear difference, especially when following lessons in class.
“I can see much more clearly now, especially when looking at things from far away. It makes it easier for me to follow lessons and study in class,” Fiska shared.
For children, clearer vision can make it easier to follow lessons and take part in school activities. For staff, the right glasses can also make everyday work and activities more comfortable.
