Ema remains active in the Karang Taruna (youth group) and demonstrated her leadership and creativity during a joint Taekwondo training session at Peduli Anak. She encouraged her friends to start a small business by selling milk ice drinks for IDR 2,000 per cup to participants from other schools. The simple venture sold well and became a valuable experience that nurtured independence, teamwork, and self-confidence for Ema and the other children at Peduli Anak.

Over the past few weeks, Aura has been busy preparing for the selection of Paskibraka (Flag Hoisting Troop) candidates at the West Lombok Regent’s Office. She trains diligently every day—both physically and in marching techniques—under the guidance of an experienced coach. Soon, she will also take part in the next phase of training at the Regent’s Field in Gerung as part of the selection process. Aura is very hopeful that she will pass and be chosen to raise the flag during the Indonesian Independence Day ceremony. For Aura, this is a major opportunity to fulfill her dream and contribute to the country.

Irwansyah joined a reflection activity with internship students at Peduli Anak. In this session, he practiced answering questions about his daily activities and completing sentences to strengthen his cognitive skills. Irwansyah responded well and was able to explain his activities in an organized and clear manner.

Birrul has been participating in home-based learning for two weeks due to the twelfth-grade students taking their school exams. During this period, he receives assignments from his teachers via a WhatsApp group according to the class schedule. While working on his tasks, Birrul studies together with a friend and is directly supported by a counselor.

Egi and two of his friends took part in a Social Studies Quiz Competition at the district level. They prepared themselves by studying and practicing answering questions under the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Rizal. On the day of the competition, Egi initially felt a lack of confidence upon seeing teams from other schools, but his spirit returned after receiving encouragement from his teacher. Together with his team, Egi managed to answer quite a number of questions correctly, although they didn’t win a prize. However, the experience motivated him even more to keep learning and try again in the future.

Aida has shown a strong interest in energetic EDM music. Almost every day, she listens to music with her friends while relaxing, using her mini speaker. They often dance along to the rhythm of the songs. This activity has become Aida’s way of expressing herself, helping her become more open and confident.

Fiska felt proud to be chosen to represent her school in the district-level Social Studies Quiz Competition alongside Egi and Aena. They studied diligently every day under the guidance of Mr. Rizal, even though they felt nervous before the competition. During the event, they performed as a solid and confident team, eventually winning 3rd place. This achievement was a valuable experience and a source of motivation for Fiska to keep learning and striving for excellence.

Al enjoys watching TV after school as a way to relax. He loves watching his favorite shows but still manages his time well so that it doesn’t interfere with his schoolwork or other activities. For him, this has become an enjoyable moment of relaxation.

Nur took part in a water rocket activity with visiting students from Cita Buana School Jakarta at Peduli Anak. The schoolyard was filled with excitement as water rockets made from used plastic bottles were launched into the air. During the preparation, Nur and her friends were in charge of decorating the rocket bodies, while the boys, assisted by the Cita Buana students, handled the launching process. Nur cheered and laughed whenever a rocket got stuck in a tree or launched too close to the target. Her group’s rocket ended up winning the challenge thanks to its smooth flight and accurate direction. That day, Nur learned that teamwork and perseverance can help dreams soar—just like a rocket.
