Fun Activities with Students of Green School Bali
The children of Peduli Anak recently had the pleasure of welcoming ten students and two teachers from Green School Bali. Their visit, which took place from March 11 to 13, was filled with meaningful interactions, learning experiences, and creative activities that left a lasting impact on both the Peduli Anak children and the Green School students.
Engaging in Classroom Learning
Each morning, the Green School students joined classes at Peduli Anak Primary and Middle School. Some even took part in fun learning sessions with the younger children in our Kindergarten class. These shared experiences provided a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange and allowed the visiting students to gain insight into the daily school life of Peduli Anak children.
Afternoon Creativity and Fun Activities
After school hours, the collaboration continued with various creative activities led by the Green School students and teachers. Together, the children explored:
- Batik making
- Crafting accessories with colorful beads
- Origami art
- Drawing and painting
- Clay shaping
- Creating Ramadan greeting cards
- Aromatherapy candle making
For two consecutive days, the children enthusiastically participated in these activities, exchanging ideas and creativity while building friendships beyond language and cultural differences.
A Heartfelt Message from Green School Bali
Reflecting on the visit, Ibu Peny, a teacher from Green School Bali, shared her appreciation:
« We are glad to be back here in Peduli Anak. We really appreciate the excitement and warm welcome from the children and staff of Peduli Anak. We learned a lot from you, especially how Peduli Anak brings hope and happiness to these children. Our students truly learned so much from the children here. Surely, we will be back again to do more fun and educational activities together. »
Building Friendships Beyond Boundaries
Despite language barriers and cultural differences, the children of Peduli Anak eagerly embraced the opportunity to interact and bond with the students from Green School Bali. The exchange of knowledge, skills, and stories created a unique and meaningful experience for everyone involved, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and mutual learning.
