Sharing a Special Afternoon with UFS Indonesia
Happiness is often found in life’s simplest moments, like cooking and enjoying a meal together. That was exactly what the children at Peduli Anak experienced during Kolaborasa (Collaboration of Flavours and Happiness) with the team from Unilever Food Solutions.
From the moment the activity began, the atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement. The children weren’t just participants. They became part of an experience that encouraged them to work together, try something new, and enjoy meaningful moments with people they had just met.
Learning Through Togetherness
During the activity, the children were divided into groups and cooked alongside the Unilever Food Solutions team. Each group shared responsibilities, from preparing ingredients and cooking the dishes to presenting their final creations. Throughout the process, they communicated, supported one another, and worked together to overcome every challenge as a team.
Once all the dishes were ready, everyone gathered to enjoy dinner together. The relaxed atmosphere gave the children and the Unilever Food Solutions team the chance to chat, laugh, and continue the connections they had built throughout the day. Before the event came to an end, the team also surprised the children with gifts, bringing even more smiles and excitement to a memorable afternoon.
A Meaningful New Experience
Beyond learning how to cook, the children had the opportunity to meet new people and work together as a team. The activity showed them that communication, cooperation, and mutual respect are all important parts of achieving a shared goal.

« I was really happy to cook with the Unilever Food Solutions team. At first, I felt shy because I didn’t know them, but as we cooked together, we started talking and working as a team. I also enjoyed sharing the meal that we made together. »

Activities like this help them build confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and become more comfortable connecting with new people. Simple moments like these play an important role in helping them grow into confident and open minded individuals.
