A Day Full of Stories at McDonald’s
Thirty five of our children had the chance to visit McDonald’s Mataram Mall as part of McDonald’s Indonesia’s 35th anniversary celebration through Community Month. For some of them, it was their first visit to McDonald’s, and the team gave them a warm welcome.
The visit included a mix of activities, from storytelling and games to a kitchen tour and making their own ice cream. Each activity gave the children something new to try while enjoying time outside their usual routine.
Stories, Quizzes, and Games
The day started with a storytelling session, followed by a quiz about the story they had just heard. The children had to pay close attention so they could answer the questions.
The fun continued with games such as ular naga, sing along activities, and more. These activities helped everyone relax and made it easy for the children to interact with the McDonald’s team.
A Look Behind the Scenes
The McDonald’s team also gave the children a brief introduction to the restaurant before taking them on a kitchen tour. They got to see how the food is prepared and what happens behind the scenes.
Seeing the process up close gave them a different perspective on how a restaurant operates. They could see that even the food that looks simple goes through several steps and involves many people before it reaches the customer.
Dinner and Their Own Ice Cream
After the kitchen tour, the children enjoyed dinner together. The visit ended with a chance for everyone to make their own ice cream, which quickly became one of the highlights of the day.
Before heading home, they also received gifts from the McDonald’s team. By the end of the visit, there were plenty of stories to share about everything they had seen and tried.
In one visit, the children had the chance to listen to stories, play games, explore behind the scenes, and make their own ice cream. It was a fun break from their usual routine and an experience they will be happy to remember.
