A Special Visit from the Future Doctors
Last Sunday, our main hall at Peduli Anak was filled with bright smiles and caring hearts as students and doctors from the Faculty of Medicine, Mataram University came to conduct health check-ups for our children.
From checking height, weight, blood pressure, ears, and mouths to testing blood sugar levels, every child received thorough care and attention. These check-ups are an essential part of ensuring our children grow up healthy, confident, and supported.
A Day of Care, Learning, and Connection
This wasn’t just a medical routine—it was a meaningful moment of learning and connection. The children got to meet kind and professional future doctors who explained each step of the check-up with warmth and patience.
Many children, who were initially nervous, gained the courage to go through with the check-ups thanks to the compassion shown by the medical team.
“At first, I was scared to check my blood, but the kakak doctor was very kind,” shared Hamdi, one of our children. “She said I was brave, and now I’m not afraid anymore!”
These gentle moments help build not just physical health—but also emotional trust and resilience.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind
Health plays a big role in every child’s ability to learn, grow, and enjoy their daily life. By checking their development regularly, we can make sure they stay on the right path—not just in school, but in life.
Thanks to visits like this, our children are reminded that taking care of their health is something positive, and that they are never alone in their journey.
