A New Water System for Peduli Anak Sumbawa
Since opening in early March this year, Peduli anak Sumbawa Center has become home to around 40 of our children, with the programme continuing to grow and reach more children. As daily activities increase, reliable access to clean water has become an essential part of life there.
Water is needed for everything from drinking and cooking to bathing, washing, and keeping the environment clean. Having a reliable water system is therefore an important part of making sure our children have a safe and comfortable place to live.
Water for Everyday Life
For the children living there, water is part of almost every activity throughout the day. A reliable supply helps with daily routines, food preparation, hygiene, and maintaining a clean living environment for both the children and staff.
As the programme continues to grow, having essential infrastructure in place becomes increasingly important. A well-functioning water system helps support the daily needs of everyone living and working there.
A Meaningful Contribution
To help meet this need, we received a donation of a water system that will support the daily water needs at the site. The system is an important addition to the existing facilities and will be used every day by our children and staff.
For us, support for essential needs such as clean water is an important part of creating a safe and supportive environment for children. This donation will provide long-term value and help ensure that their daily needs can continue to be met as the programme grows.
The work in Sumbawa is still developing, and we are continuing to strengthen the foundations needed to support more children in the years ahead. Each new facility brings us one step closer to creating a place where children can live, learn, and grow in a safe and comfortable environment.
