French Classes Are Back
French classes are once again part of the children’s weekly activities at Peduli Anak. Every Monday and Thursday afternoon, our volunteers from France, Sasha and Leonore, lead engaging lessons filled with games, conversations, and interactive activities that make learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
Each lesson is designed to encourage active participation while making language learning feel natural and fun. Through games, conversations, and hands on activities, the children expand their vocabulary, practise speaking, and grow more confident using French in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Learning a Language, Discovering a Culture
Learning with native French speakers gives the children an experience that goes far beyond learning new words. Alongside their language skills, they discover French culture through stories, traditions, everyday life, and personal experiences shared by Sasha and Leonore during each lesson.
Every class encourages the children to ask questions, practise speaking, and use the vocabulary they have learned in real conversations. This interactive approach helps build confidence while making each lesson engaging and enjoyable.

Broadening Horizons Through Learning
More than a language class, these sessions encourage curiosity about different cultures and ways of life. Learning alongside volunteers from another country gives the children new perspectives while showing them how language can connect people from different backgrounds.
Language has a unique way of bringing people together. Through every lesson, the children are not only learning to speak French, but also building the confidence to communicate, embrace new experiences, and connect with the world beyond their own community.
With each class, they continue to strengthen their language skills while growing in confidence and curiosity. We hope these lessons will remain a place where the children feel inspired to keep learning, exploring new cultures, and discovering opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.
