The Women Behind Every Child’s Learning
A love of learning isn’t only found in the classroom. It can also be seen in the dedication of the foster mothers at Peduli Anak. After being held previously, the English classes with Henk and Miranda have now resumed, giving the foster mothers another opportunity to strengthen their language skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Each session is filled with conversation, laughter, and interactive activities that make learning enjoyable. Through simple dialogues, pronunciation practice, and language games, the foster mothers continue to build their confidence while supporting one another throughout the learning process.
Learning Together, Growing Together
Despite their busy days caring for the children, the foster mothers continue to make time to learn. Their commitment is a reminder that personal growth never stops, and that every new skill they develop helps strengthen the important role they play in the children’s lives.
English has become an increasingly valuable skill as the foster mothers regularly interact with international volunteers, sponsors, and visitors at Peduli Anak. Being able to communicate more confidently helps them build meaningful relationships while sharing the children’s daily lives and progress with supporters from around the world.

Supporting Children Through Learning
Beyond caring for the children’s daily needs, the foster mothers are also an important part of their learning journey. They help with homework, read together with the children, and support them as they learn new subjects. Strengthening their own English skills allows them to provide even better support, especially as the children develop their English at school.
At Peduli Anak, we believe that investing in children’s education also means investing in the people who care for and guide them every day. As our foster mothers continue to learn and grow, they are better equipped to create a positive learning environment and provide the encouragement each child needs to reach their full potential.
We are sincerely grateful to Henk and Miranda for once again sharing their time, knowledge, and encouragement through these English classes. Their continued support is helping empower our foster mothers while creating lasting benefits for the children they care for each day.
