Recently, I joined a Table Manner class at Merumatta Hotel with my classmates. We traveled by bus from school to the hotel, which is located in the Senggigi Beach area. Upon arrival, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly and guided us to the training room. There, my friends and I learned how to recognize and properly use dining utensils in a formal setting. Although I felt a bit nervous at first, I gradually became more confident and truly enjoyed the learning experience. It was a memorable moment that helped me better understand proper dining etiquette.

Lasmin took part in a provincial-level short story competition held online. She began working on her story, titled “Get Used to Waking Up Early,” using Microsoft Word. She wrote during her free time, mostly on weekends, so it wouldn’t interfere with her school activities. The story was inspired by the good habits practiced at Peduli Anak Foundation, where all the children are used to waking up early. Through her writing, Lasmin hopes to share a positive message about the importance of starting the day with spirit and discipline. She wishes her story could inspire others to adopt the same habit.
