Graduation marks an important milestone in any young person’s life, and today we are proud to celebrate Karmila, one of our children, who has completed her studies at Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram and graduated with a Bachelor of Education.

This achievement means a great deal to Karmila. She has dreamed of becoming a teacher since she was young, and after years of education, that childhood dream is now closer to becoming a reality.

Growing Up with a Dream

Karmila has been part of Peduli Anak since she was a child. Over the years, she continued her education while holding on to the same ambition. Her dream of becoming a teacher eventually led her to study education at Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram.

University brought new responsibilities and experiences. Through assignments, exams, and everyday life as a student, Karmila became more independent and learned to take greater responsibility for her own education. Each stage brought her one step closer to completing the degree she had worked towards for years.

A Graduation Day to Remember

After completing her studies, Karmila finally put on her graduation gown and received her Bachelor of Education. It was a proud moment, made even more special because Henk and Miranda, her sponsors, were there to celebrate with her and witness the occasion in person.

Having them there meant a great deal to Karmila after being part of her educational journey for so many years. Their presence allowed her to share an important milestone with people who had supported her along the way.

A Thank You from Karmila

Karmila knows that she did not reach this point on her own. Growing up at Peduli Anak, she has been surrounded by people who have supported her through different stages of her life, including our counsellors, foster mothers, and staff.

“I’m very grateful to have reached this point. Thank you to the counsellors, foster mothers, and everyone at Peduli Anak who have supported me since I was little. I would also like to thank Henk and Miranda for supporting my education and for being there on my graduation day. I’m very happy that I could share this special moment with all of you.” Karmila

For all of us at Peduli Anak, watching Karmila grow from a young child into a university graduate is something to be proud of. Her journey is a reminder of what education, opportunity, and steady support can make possible.

Congratulations, Karmila! May everything you have learned and achieved bring you closer to your dream of becoming a teacher.
