Karaoke Time at Peduli Anak
During the school break at Peduli Anak, one activity quickly rose to the top of everyone’s favorite list — the Karaoke Session! Held at our center, this lively event gave the children a chance to unwind, have fun, and let their voices shine.
As the microphone made its rounds, it was clear who the stars of the stage were — our talented girls, who confidently sang everything from heartfelt ballads to upbeat chart-toppers. With every note, they amazed the audience made up of their friends, staff, and volunteers who clapped, swayed, and sang along.
From Shy Voices to Big Applause
At first, some of the girls stepped onto the stage with nervous smiles and shaky hands. But once the music played and the audience cheered them on, their confidence soared. Song after song, the volume got louder, the moves got bolder, and the smiles grew wider.
It was heartwarming to watch children who usually stay quiet in class suddenly light up under the spotlight. The karaoke session wasn’t just about singing — it was about finding courage, and being supported every step of the way.
A Stage Filled with Confidence
What made the session even more special was how each performance brought out the confidence and joy in the children. The stage became a space where they could express themselves freely, share their favorite songs, and shine in front of their peers.
“I felt like a real singer on stage,” said Inaya, one of the performers. “When everyone clapped and cheered, I wasn’t nervous anymore. I just wanted to sing louder and make them smile.”
Her energy was contagious, and her voice — like many others that day — filled the hall with music, laughter, and pride.
