Health Check Day for Our Middle Schoolers
At Peduli Anak, the health and well-being of our children are just as important as their education. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Public Health Center Medical Team to ensure every child receives routine check-ups and stays on track for a healthy future.
Recently, our middle school students at Peduli Anak joined their first routine health check-up—and they did great!
A Full Body Check
The visiting medical team came directly to Peduli Anak, turning our space into a mini clinic for the day. The check-up included a full screening of each child’s:
- Weight and height
- Blood sugar level
- Mouth and ear health
- Blood pressure
The children took turns visiting each station, supported by our team and teachers. Many of them were excited and curious, especially when getting their blood sugar checked.

Collaboration for Better Child Health
This activity is part of an ongoing collaboration between Peduli Anak and the local Public Health Center (Puskesmas). Routine check-ups like these are an important part of early health detection and preventive care, especially for children who have faced neglect in the past.
By working together with government health services, we can:
- Monitor the physical development of every child
- Detect early signs of potential health issues
- Promote awareness about personal hygiene and wellness
A Healthy Start and More to Come
We’re happy to share that the middle schoolers were found to be in good health during this first session. Their bright smiles and brave attitudes made the day even more special.
The health check-up will continue regularly, with other students taking turns in future visits. In fact, the next group to receive their check-up will be students from Peduli Anak Primary School, ensuring every child has access to proper health monitoring.
Thank you to the medical team for their kind and professional service. With continued care and support, our children can stay healthy, happy, and ready to reach their dreams!
