Peduli Anak Challenge 2024: Taekwondo Try-Out Tournament at Peduli Anak
Peduli Anak recently hosted the Peduli Anak Challenge 2024, a Taekwondo try-out tournament that brought together Taekwondo teams from across Lombok. The event was held at Peduli Anak’s sport center and was filled with excitement as participants competed in friendly matches.
Children from Peduli Anak’s Taekwondo club also took part in the tournament. With strong determination and hard training, several of them achieved great success. Yuda and Idris both secured first place in different categories, while Rizkiyal won second place. These victories were a proud moment for all of us at Peduli Anak.
Beyond competing, this event allowed Peduli Anak children to socialize with peers from other schools and Taekwondo teams across Lombok. They interacted well and made new friends, proving that they can adapt and socialize confidently with new people.
The lively atmosphere of the Peduli Anak Challenge 2024 also gave an opportunity to some Peduli Anak children who weren’t competing. They set up stalls selling snacks and refreshing drinks to the participants from various Taekwondo teams. This was a great moment to teach them entrepreneurship skills and how to manage a small business in a busy environment.
Mr. Denny, Head Coach of the Taekwondo team and Principal of Peduli Anak’s middle school, expressed his gratitude for the success of the event. “The Taekwondo try-out tournament went really well. I am very proud of our children’s achievements and how they socialized. I hope this event can become an annual occasion, giving children more opportunities to compete and learn.”
Through the Peduli Anak Challenge 2024, not only did the children improve their sports and competitive skills, but they also developed their social and entrepreneurial abilities. Peduli Anak hopes that similar events can be held annually to encourage more children to showcase their talents and potential, both on and off the field.
