Omdat zijn ouders alleen de basisschool hebben afgerond, kunnen ze alleen als dagloner werken. Daardoor leven ze heel eenvoudig. Om een goede opleiding te krijgen, gaat Gibran naar school bij Peduli Anak. Als hij later volwassen is, droomt Gibran ervan om voetballer te worden.
