Chills and Cheers

Alif enjoys watching horror movies in the Peduli Anak hall. He likes the thrill that the genre offers and sees it as a way to practice courage. Watching movies is also a chance for him to socialize and share exciting moments with his friends.

In Visual Arts, Dayah has been able to identify one type of origami paper along with its characteristics. She knows that papercraft origami paper is easy to shape and fairly thick. This understanding is supported by her experience watching a learning video shown by the teacher. It reflects Dayah’s interest and attentiveness to the material being studied.

At the beginning of the semester, Aqin received many assignments, including a rock climbing practicum held at the Youth Sports Center in Mataram. Although it was his first time trying, Aqin felt excited and challenged, as he enjoys heights. He faced some difficulties but stayed motivated and did his best. With guidance from the instructor and support from his friends, Aqin gradually learned the basic techniques of rock climbing. This activity became a new experience that helped build his courage and perseverance.

In Indonesian language class, Azka has demonstrated a good understanding of suggestion and invitation sentences. He can give examples such as the suggestion sentence “don’t forget to pray before eating” and the invitation sentence “let’s read books regularly.” This ability shows Azka’s understanding of the function of language in delivering messages appropriately and politely.

Dian has a strong understanding of regular and irregular verbs and is able to write about past experiences accurately. He works independently on assignments, is cooperative in group work, and demonstrates a high sense of responsibility in his learning.

Azka Rabbani enjoys socializing and loves spending time with his friends. He often sits with them at the school canteen during breaks, chatting casually. One of his favorite topics to talk about is his favorite movie, Spiderman. This habit shows that Azka has good friendships and is able to interact warmly in his social environment.

In academic areas, particularly in the Indonesian subject, Dafa is able to listen and understand information well from texts read aloud. For example, when the teacher read a passage titled “Lingkungan Sehat” (Healthy Environment), he was able to recall and mention the key information from the text. This ability demonstrates his good memory and strong understanding of material delivered orally.

Imam is a diligent student who shows great concern for cleanliness. He always arrives earlier than his classmates and takes the initiative to clean the classroom or schoolyard, even when it’s not his assigned duty. He continues the task until the scheduled duty student arrives. This behavior reflects Imam’s sense of responsibility, discipline, and care for the school environment.

In Mathematics, Evan is learning to identify and say two-digit numbers and has shown good progress. He is now able to read numbers from 1 to 100 correctly. For example, when given the number 67, Evan can accurately say “sixty-seven.” This ability reflects his growing understanding of number concepts.
