17 April 2023 – For the second time this Ramadan, the Peduli Anak team held an iftar on the road with street children. This event was attended by more children than before. They seemed happy and enjoyed the food shared by the team. Although the food was simple, they were grateful to be able to break their fast together. They remind us of the importance of living in the present moment and cherishing the simple things in life.

Pak Dani, one of the social workers at Peduli Anak, said, “I am touched to see the enthusiasm of these children to break their fast with us. Even though the food we provide is simple, seeing them happy makes me happy too.”

Like the previous Iftar event, the children were excited to receive rice in a box. During the event, the Peduli Anak team also shared refreshing drinks and sweet snacks. Also, through this activity, Peduli Anak hopes to help more children, especially street children who need proper education and a safe place to live.

Currently, many children are in urgent need of shelter. However, the capacity of the beds at Peduli Anak is full. To help these children, extra support is needed. This support will be very beneficial in funding the addition of bed capacity at Peduli Anak. So, even more children can live in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment.
