25 February 2023 – The children joined a sushi-making class with The Hungry Sushi team. It was such a fun experience for them, as they got to try making sushi for the first time. Some of the children were fascinated with the shape of the sushi.

“We are grateful to the children for welcoming us, and their smiles while making sushi were heartwarming,” said Mara, the owner of The Hungry Sushi restaurant.

The children made around 200 rice rolls that day and shared the sushi they had made with other kids, foster mothers, and staff. Through the class, they learned more about food from other countries and realized that there are many ways to serve rice.
