Bahrun Farihin, usually called Parihin, was raised in an underprivileged family. He’s the youngest of three. He used to live in a dirty and rundown house. His father passed away and his mother works on a farm, not earning enough to support her family. Because of this, Parihin’s older sister got married at a very young age and went to live with her husband in another village and his older brother was adopted by a family outside of Lombok.
Despite his situation, Parihin never felt inferior compared to his friends or complained to them about his. He joined Peduli Anak when he was in 4th grade. His family hopes that Parihin will continue studying at eventually go to high school too.
At the Peduli Anak Primary School, Parihin likes to study science and social science the most. He enjoy playing soccer and badminton and his dream is to meet his brother one day.
Arman likes to study and is very enthusiastic when participating in activities at the foundation. Arman said that he wants to be a teacher just like one of his teachers at school, Mrs. Dwi.
