17/10/19 – Dutch dentists and hygienists from Dental Development Foundation Indonesia (DDFI) came to Peduli Anak to give free dental checks and treatment to our children. DDFI organized this event yearly where they traveled across Lombok and give free dental treatment to school children. This year is rather special because it’s the first time after their short break last year due to the earthquake in Lombok. We have also plenty of new kids who have never had a dental check before.

Old children who are already familiar with doctor Huub and his team are brave enough to sit in the hot seat, but for the new ones, they needed more persuasion and encouragement.

In total there are 100 children underwent oral examination, with only 55 of them have good oral health. Altogether the team did 36 fillings, 7 extractions, 38 tartar treatment, 38 sealing, and 28 cleaning instructions.
