Her Head Is Enlarged, Fadila Needs Surgery Immediately!

Fadila (11 months) is suffering from hydrocephalus. Fluid in her head fills and presses the brain cavity until her head continues to increase in size. Because of her illness, she is always crying and fussy. Even now, due to the constant crying and lack of appetite from the pain, her lungs are also got an infection.

Her eyes cannot look at an object with focus. Even her pupils were not visible because they were pulled by the size of her head. Now, Fadila can only lie down or be carried. Her head which is continuously getting bigger cannot be supported by her small body. Moreover, her head is scratched from lying down too much.

Together with her grandfather, parents, and two older siblings, Fadila lives in a bamboo house without good air circulation and lighting. Her father only works as a traditional ice seller, while her mother only stays at home to take care of her and her siblings. Never mind medical treatment, they can barely make ends meet. Not every day her father’s ice is sold out. That is why Fadila cannot get proper treatment for her condition.
