Azam is currently in the early stages of developing writing skills. He is able to copy letters and short words such as “rumah” (house), “kita” (us), and “buku” (book), and continues to show good effort in improving his abilities. Although he still requires guidance to maintain neatness and accuracy in his writing, Azam demonstrates a positive attitude toward learning and steady progress.
Maya is currently taking her school exams and has become increasingly diligent and focused in her studies. Every night, she sets aside time to study using her notebooks, search for additional materials online, and watch educational videos on YouTube. If there’s important content that’s hard to read on her phone screen, she asks the counselor to help print it out so she can read it more comfortably. Her efforts show how serious Maya is in preparing herself to achieve the best results in her exams.
Rayhan took part in a beading activity in class with his friends, using thread and pieces of straw to create a snail-shaped pattern. Although he made a few mistakes threading the straw pieces at first, he remained enthusiastic and kept trying with guidance from his teacher. This activity was designed to train the children’s focus and patience in completing tasks carefully and diligently. Thanks to his effort, Rayhan successfully finished his beading project. It was a fun and meaningful learning experience for him.
Abdul joined a tote bag coloring activity with four students from Cita Buana School in the schoolyard. He worked together with his friends using four different colors to create a beautiful gradient on the tote bag. The activity was led by the Cita Buana students and supervised by Ms. Ria. After drying, the tote bags were ready to take home. Abdul felt happy and proud of his creation—especially after receiving some candy as a reward and appreciation.
Laela spent her free time doing a creative activity by making a candy container from a used toy box. She decorated the box with colorful beads and cute stickers, turning it into a beautiful and functional container. In addition to storing candy, she also used it to keep small items like hair clips and bracelets. This activity reflected Laela’s creativity, neatness, and care for the environment.
Elsa regularly attends Art Class with Ms. Aini every Wednesday afternoon. In a recent session, she made a pencil holder using a plastic bottle and colorful straws. She decorated it with ribbon to make it more appealing. Her creation reflected creativity, attention to detail, and her ability to turn recycled materials into something useful.
Over the past few weeks, Novi has shown a great interest in art class, especially while making butterfly-shaped origami with Ms. Angkib. She quickly understood the instructions and enthusiastically created her first origami piece. Her success motivated her to keep practicing and improve her skills—even teaching her friend, Nur, how to make it. Pride and joy were evident on Novi’s face every time she looked at her creation. Her enthusiasm and perseverance reflect the great potential she has in the field of art.
Recently, I joined a Table Manner class at Merumatta Hotel with my classmates. We traveled by bus from school to the hotel, which is located in the Senggigi Beach area. Upon arrival, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly and guided us to the training room. There, my friends and I learned how to recognize and properly use dining utensils in a formal setting. Although I felt a bit nervous at first, I gradually became more confident and truly enjoyed the learning experience. It was a memorable moment that helped me better understand proper dining etiquette.
Hijrah is a student who shows great motivation to learn, even while studying from home. He stays enthusiastic in completing assignments and follows the counselor’s guidance with discipline every day.
