Living the First Principle of Pancasila

In class, Naufal has been able to understand the meaning of the first principle of Pancasila and apply it in his daily behavior. This is evident from his habit of praying before and after lessons, as well as his respectful and appreciative attitude toward friends of different religions. These actions reflect the values of tolerance and faith that align with the first principle.

Yusfi joined a karaoke activity in the Peduli Anak hall as part of the school holiday event with international volunteers. She enthusiastically sang the song “Bukan Cinta 1 atau 2” while dancing to the rhythm, showing joy and confidence. This activity was a fun experience for her, as it allowed her to express herself, bond with others, and spend her holiday in a positive way.

After completing a one-month internship program, Pitra has now returned to campus life with a fairly tight schedule. She is busy with various academic assignments, group discussions, and organizational activities that she is currently involved in. Despite her growing responsibilities, Pitra continues to manage her time well. She remains committed to fulfilling her responsibilities to the best of her ability, both as a student and as an active member of her organization.

Dayah took part in a fun activity with four visiting students from Cita Buana School, Jakarta. The event featured a singing competition of the song “Guruku Tersayang” and a lyric continuation game. Grouped with her classmates, Dayah’s team won first place. She was enthusiastic throughout the activity, which was judged by the Cita Buana students and held in the third-grade classroom, guided by Ms. Habibah. More than just fun, the event also strengthened the bond among students.

Sapta is always enthusiastic whenever she goes swimming with his friends and the volunteers. She looks cheerful as she plays and jokes around in the pool, especially during games of tag in the water. The laughter-filled atmosphere makes it a joyful moment for her. For Sapta, swimming is not just a physical activity, but also a valuable time to build togetherness and friendship.

Pendi completed a line and flat shape pattern-drawing assignment given by the Peduli Anak counselor to train his precision and skills. After receiving instructions on how to create the patterns, he carefully drew them using a pencil, ruler, and pattern paper. Once finished, Pendi posted his artwork on the bulletin board and explained the patterns he had made. This activity was also joined by his housemates—Dika, Dayat, Hapip, and Idris—making the learning process more lively and filled with togetherness.

Rahim played badminton in front of House 1 against Yudit. Although still learning and missing a few shots, he stayed enthusiastic and showed good skill during his serves. Rahim and Yudit got creative—using two sandals as the net and the paving block lines as the court boundaries. Their game was simple but exciting, filled with energy and a strong sense of sportsmanship.

Abdul and all his housemates from House 1 helped their foster mother make chocolate and nut cookies for Eid in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The cookies were made from chocolate bars, almonds, and colorful sprinkles, using a simple process that involved all the children. Abdul was given the special task of adding sprinkles on top of the molded chocolates, and he did it with great enthusiasm and a big smile. Although his role was simple, he felt happy to contribute. This activity became a fun learning moment for Abdul and strengthened their togetherness as Eid approached.

Ismail is currently active in school and shows a positive attitude toward learning—he listens to the teacher, completes assignments, and participates in discussions. He is fairly capable of keeping up with the lessons, although he struggles with Mathematics and English. Despite the challenges, especially in understanding algebra formulas and foreign vocabulary, Ismail remains motivated and works hard to improve. He studies more diligently and is not afraid to ask questions when he doesn’t understand something. This spirit is a valuable asset that will support Ismail’s continued growth in his education.
