Free Dental Check for Children

Dentists of Dental Development Foundation Indonesia (DDFI) once again came to Peduli Anak to give free dental check to all children. The dentists travel around Lombok and  visit schools, including Peduli Anak, performing dental treatment such as checking, cleaning, filling, and extracting teeth. The group consists of Dutch dentists and local dentists.

This time was special because children in Child Social Welfare Program (PKSA) were also invited. Parents and children from villages crowded into Peduli Anak and patiently waited for their turn.

More than 120 children were treated by this mix of young and senior dentists within 4 hours. The group leader, Huub van't Veld, said that the oral health of Peduli Anak children are better this year. Thank you DDFI and we'll see you again next year!
