Management

Chaim Fetter - Chairman of the Executive Board
Chaim (1981) comes from a family where healthcare has been a predominant theme for decades. Branching away from the family tradition, he became an entrepreneur at the age of 18 when he established his first ICT company. Within a few years, he was the owner of many more ICT related companies. Despite financial prosperity, Chaim felt something was missing in his life, and a few journeys through Asia roused his interest in different cultures and people. When he met Hadi, one of the many Indonesian street children who suffer on the streets on the Island of Lombok, his life changed. The rest is history: Chaim and his friend Bjørn founded the Peduli Anak Foundation in January 2006. Chaim is leading the operational management of the extensive Peduli Anak Project Area in Indonesia since then.

Bjørn Dudok van Heel, LLM MBA - Chairman of the Supervisory Board

As managing director and founder of the Singaporean investment company Veneti Capital, Bjørn (1978) is involved in social and ethical responsible enterprising in developing countries and emerging markets. After he and Chaim founded the Peduli Anak Foundation in 2006, Bjørn decided to guide the organization (mainly on the field of strategy, finance and general business) throughout the different NGO life cycles.
Until October 2007, Bjørn worked as a banker. Before, an entrepreneurial experience, several challenging global projects and two challenging Master studies (Corporate Law and MBA) guided him through life. In 1996, he started his career (as family tradition requires) in the Royal Dutch army. After a dispatch to the Former Yugoslavia and many private journeys across our planet, Bjørn felt that every person has to contribute not only to nature as a whole, but also to the one's for whom prosperity is only an abstract term. From his point of view, the combination of business and development work will become the new trend in the 21st century.

Hemy Lo - Treasurer

Hemy Lo was born in Ampenan (Lombok) in 1971 and moved to The Netherlands in 1974. He studied accountancy at the university of NIVRA/Nyenrode in The Netherlands and is working as public accountant in Amsterdam with Horlings. Hemy has extensive experience working for international clients in many countries as a financial auditor.  Hemy is married to Melanie, a remedial teacher and dyslexic specialist, with 2 children. Although he's spent most of his life in The Netherlands, Hemy frequently goes back to Lombok to meet friends and relatives. During his stays in Lombok he saw the urgent need for children and wants to help these children to give them a future of hope, love and believe which every child deserves. Hemy believes that this future can only be managed by paying attention and love to the children and give them a proper education. As Hemy is living in The Netherlands, he supports Peduli Anak by being the contact person in The Netherlands for all friends and sponsors of the Peduli Anak Foundation. In March 2010, Hemy took the treasurership from Evert Makkinga, who supported Peduli Anak as treasurer and dedicated supporter for more than 3 years.
As a treasurer of Peduli Anak Foundation, Hemy expects transparency towards all parties to maintain the concern of the foundation in order to give the children in Lombok a better future.
